This exciting Willard Byrd challenge is a traditional layout with superb playing conditions and forested areas lining the Bermuda fairways. Player-friendly - but not a piece of cake, the course's teeth are in its Tiftdwarf Bermuda greens which, from the fairways, look fairly flat, a visual deception that makes them all the trickier when you reach the putting surface and find subtle undulations and multiple tiers. Strand golfers agree, ``Calabash Golf Links is the course to play." Voted "Best on the Beach" for women, seniors, juniors, and beginners by the Sun News Golf Magazine.
