A veteran member of the "Myrtle Beach Dream 18" with its famous par-4, #9 hole, this can be a dangerous golf course with forced carries over water on 15 holes. This fabulous Gene Hamm design has four sets of tees to assure every golfer an enjoyable challenge. Highway 17 South, Surfside Beach.

Set on an antebellum rice plantation site, The Founders Club features impressive elevation changes, fairways defined by mounds with pot bunkers, and square “island” tee boxes set inside massive waste bunkers. Its greens are grassed with the new heat-tolerant Emerald Bermuda so that they can be cut tight even in warm weather, keeping the undulating putting surfaces in top form. Highway 17, Pawleys Island.
