	Architect Dan Maples and owner/developer Larry Young have combined their considerable talents to create a design that demands absolutely pricise shotmaking. The beauty of the setting itself, though, is a distraction - a rare combination of elevated ground skirted by low-lying marsh adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway, where lush, indigenous vegetation outlines teeing and landing areas, and native wildlife of virtually every species abound.


	Ranked by Golf Digest as one of the ``50 Best Public Courses in America," Marsh Harbour's famed 17th hole has been recognized as ``the most beautiful and exciting hole on the Grand Strand," - although the same could be easily said of every hole on this ``must play" course with wonderfully playable Bent Grass greens.
